The Spirit of the Togakure Ryu is the most well known to most Bujinkan students.
But what of the Feelings/Spirit of the other Ryu? we have a little more understanding on the Shinden Fudo Ryu, who knows maybe more will come out soon.
I hope other students will ask the question of what are the Ura of the other Ryu, or am I the only one that wishes to know.
Much is written on the History of the Ryuha (Bujinkan Schools), but very little true understanding seems to be out in the open, so let us look for it.
Below I have written a little on the Spirit of the Togakure Ryu from Wolfgang Ettig
,,Run away, rather than fight
Inflict pain, rather than hurt
Hurt rather than kill
Only kill so as not to be killed"
This is a philosophy I like the sound of.
