nope sometimes the fun is in the challenge, or the fact that it is hard, rereading that, I think it will definately have crude connotations, but hey who cares!

come on Tom - think of your heart - think of the training - think of the fun and you can always go to the pub afterwards... negating the gym to an extenet but come on!!!

but hadn't we established in a previous topic that everything that is done, whether reading a newspaper or taking a sh*t is training 
As for the gym, its a personal choice I don't like gyms but I do like swimming, but I prefer swimming alone!
That and people ribbing me about wearing my speedos I can probably live without!

i prefer swimming alone as well but i feel i wont go as much (at all) unless people are going - it gives me some form of incentive to go. also a good social activity!

Are you all trying to imply that my body in speedos makes you throw up in your mouth a little?
I'll third that petition, and on that grand note I will be attending the swimming pool by myself this term!
I understand the necessity to have people occasionally kick you up the arse, I actually find that going the first time is more difficult than keeping it going.
