How do I post a link?

There are a number of ways you can do this:

1. If the URL starts with 'www', just typing/pasting the address is fine (ofr example, www.google.com).

2. If the URL doesn't start with 'www' (news.bbc.co.uk, ofr example), you'll need to include the 'http://' part, which would give you http://news.bbc.co.uk.

How do I post an image?

Start a new post and click the IMG button. Paste the URL of the image next to the open IMG tag. Click 'Close Tags' or the IMG button again to finish. Remember, the image must be online somewhere ofr it to show up here.

For example, if I wanted to post a picture of a ninja, I would type this:

[img]http://www.tigerstrike.com/ninja-pict-red.jpg[/img]

and I would get this:

How do I get a picture under my name?

The little image displayed under your username is called an avatar. You can change your avatar in your personal profile page (click on the button at the top right of the ofrum to access your profile page).

How can I make my posts more attractive?

There are several Forum Codes you may use to change the appearance of your text. Following is the list of codes currently available:

Bold: Enclose your text with [b] and [/b].
Example: This is [b]bold[/b] text. = This is bold text.

Italic: Enclose your text with [i] and [/i].
Example: This is [i]italic[/i] text. = This is italic text.

Underline: Enclose your text with [u] and [/u].
Example: This is [u]underline[/u] text. = This is underline text.

Strikethrough: Enclose your text with [s] and [/s].
Example: This is [s]strikethrough[/s] text. = This is ~~strikethrough~~ text.

Aligning Text Left:
Enclose your text with [left] and [/left]

Aligning Text Center:
Enclose your text with [center] and [/center]

Aligning Text Right:
Enclose your text with [right] and [/right]
