Hey.

Just a quick question for anyone that might know. My meditations got put onto the back bench as it came up to exam period as my work load increased. I've slowely gotten back into meditation on a semi-regular basis. Not doing anything to strenuous, just the secret smile, my cave and running my orbit. But since starting up again I always seem to feel really hot. I normally get the feeling when I'm running energy as I massage people. But now I'm like it all the time.

Anyone know if it could be something to do with my meditation or if I'm just going nuts.

Cheers. See you all next year.

It is not "I am doing this" but an inner realisation that "This is happening through me".

could be, especially if it's around your kidneys/adrenal glands, spreading through your solar plexus or up your back. sometimes you get the sweats anyway, or heat/chills in the centre of your spine (or other places). if it is meditation related, unless it is around your kidneys/adrenals/solar plexus, it should even out after not too long. if you've got it in your kidneys/adrenals/solar plexus, i reckon that's the psychic heat that bellows breathing aims to generate. nice one, it took me a while to get that.

oh, have you checked your central heating thermostat?!?

It's normal that you feel hot when you were used to meditate and you stopped. When you meditate and do energy practice, you open up some channels that remain clean with the continuous energy streams. When you stop for a while, these channels get clogged and a bit of "trash" gets in. When you start again, this trash is burned and the clogs undone, which generate heat out of the "burning and the friction" metaphore.

You can also get a heat burst when you use an energy technique that is powerful enough to generate a level of energy that you were not used to, like the transformational kuji-in (http://www.kujiin.com) and some Qi-Gong technique.
