I just had a thought... Is it actually allowed under Guild regulations to host the site elsewhere? I have a feeling that we tried to do this a while ago and we were not allowed to do it because as a Uni club we had be hosted by the Guild/AU. Hopefully this has changed, but unless somebody has already checked it out it could be worth doing so?

I know that BURN FM, the guild radio station host theirs off-site, and is essentially mirrored on the guild site.
So the way to get around is having an offsite account, that can then be programmed, by html or otherwise (beyond my knowledge), to reflect itself in the guild domain
I think we can get away with an offsite website, providing it can still be accessed via the students.bugs.bham.ac.uk site
Does that make sense?

The new site loosk great

Could I ask a favour. Could you put a freeze on the 'Ninpo and Philosophy pages' whilst a review it. It's just that I will be potentially publishing on Nietzsche, and I'd rather not have my undergraduate wafflings in the public domain, which might be quoted in correspondence!

I'll try to get it re-written in a way that is not potentially damaging to my career () ASAP. In the meantime, could you put up an 'under construction' notice or something?

Cheers,

Jon.

Heya folks,

Site looks fantastic, very impressive

However (d'oh!), I have found one for the technically-minded to sort out. Trying to use the "contact us" form produces the following spiel:

FILE NOT FOUND: contact-us/
You are not authorized to view this resource.
You need to login.

Probably just a small error, but I thought I'd let you know.
Anyway, see you all on Saturday!
